- I don't have IELTS or OET at the moment. Can I register with your ABP Pathway?
Yes, you can register with us with out any IELTS or OET at this stage.
- What is OET?
OET stands for Occupational English Test. Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) accepts OET score as English language requirement if you get ‘B’ grade or above in single sitting in all modules.
OET is conducted specially for medical professionals like Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists & Radiologist etc.- Why should I study OET in Australia?
It is not mandate to study OET in Australia. You can even study and write OET exam in most countries around the world.
But OET is a very special test and there are very few training centers teaching it. We work with a few best colleges and universities who is delivering OET in Australia. 95% of our nurses passed OET in first attempt when they take coaching in Australia.- I'm Nurse from English Speaking country? Do I need to prove my English Language proficiency to get NMBA Registration?
If you’re working in USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland for past two years and studied your Higher Secondary in English Medium, you don’t need to have IELTS or OET proofs.
- Can I work in Australia during my OET preparation?
Yes, legally you can work up to 20 hours and full time during holidays. But recommend to study more, rather than working during the OET preparation.
- What kind of visa I shall apply to get OET Preparation in Australia?
You should apply 570 visa to Australia
- How much be the course fees for OET Preparation?
It will be approximately between 5,000 to 6,000 AUD depends on the college
- Can I apply for Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia with out any English score?
No, you have to apply after getting the English score.
- What is the application fees for NMBA?
Application fee for NMBA is $450.However, it is wise to check the application form while filing up your details.
- How long it will take to get Assessment letter from NMBA?
It will take up to 12 weeks to get Assessment from NMBA. But if your documentation is clear, you can even get within 4 to 6 weeks.
It is only an estimate based on previous applications. But it is entirely up to NMBA for processing time.- Will I get my processing fees back as per refund policy from Nurses2Australia or AHPRA/NMBA, if my application is unsuccessful?
No. N2A or AHPRA/NMBA will not refund the application fees even if your application in unsuccessfull or if you are unable to provide required documents as per both the parties .
In any circumstance, if you have paid our processing fee's twice, then your excess amount paid would be refund in 30/45 days .
- What is length of Bridging Program?
Bridging Program will be between 3 months length depends on the University or College.
- What will be the cost of Bridging Program?
Bridging Program cost approximately $10,000 depends on the University or College.
- Do I need to pass exam to complete Bridging Program?
Yes, you have to pass exams & undergo complete assessment with complete clinical placements to complete your Bridging Program.
- What kind of visa I should apply to study Bridging Program?
You can apply 456 short stay visa
- Will I get refund of my Bridging Program fees, if my visa get refused?
It will be very rare to get visa refused under 456 visa category, if you get right documentation. But in case, if your visa get refused, you will get refund from the University / College as per their refund policy. You need to submit them a refund application and in most cases they will take up to 28 days to process the refund.
- Can I work during Bridging Program?
In most cases No. Firstly you won’t be having any time after spending time on your studies.
- After completion of Bridging Program, do you provide job?
Finding a Registered Nurse job is not at all a difficult task in Australia as there is a huge shortage. However, we will assist and advice in applying jobs at Hospitals and Nursing Homes.
- How much salary I may expect as a Registered Nurse in Australia?
It depends on your speciality and experience. However, an average salary for Registered Nurse in Australia is about $65,000 per anum.
- Can I apply for Permanent Residency after getting job in Australia?
Yes, most of nurses apply for Permanent Residency after completion on 1 year of work in Australia to secure required points. However it is completely depends on rules at the time of application. You need to check with immigration website for it.
